I like to think of a photo shoot as a fun activity. A chance for you and your tribe to have some fun together and for me to capture all the smiles and connections between you. I believe the most important sparkle in a photoshoot is joy - everyone from babies to grandparents should enjoy the shoot and have FUN!

Finished edited photos will have similar colors/exposure/skin tones to what you see on this site. Please do not ask me to edit like another photographer. This is my work, my brand - this is how I do it :)

I have been working as a photographer for 20 years , right here in Grand Cayman. I offer shoots island wide from West Bay to Rum Point and will travel to your location at

I am generally a fun and friendly person to be around, I've been working in Customer Service for over 35 years and I pride Pura Vida Photography on strong work ethic and client relations.
My high energy and quirky sense of humour will have you all laughing and enjoying each others company while I capture all the smiles and happiness. You will feel relaxed and beautiful. I will organise, guide and curate everyone during the shoot, capturing all different combinations of your family, I'll also sneak in the candids you didn't realise I saw, along with a mix of posed, prompted and completely raw, in between moments. I like to cover all basis so whatever style of photography you and individual group members are in to, there will be something for everyone and you will love them all, making your album infinitely timeless.
All the above while ensuring everyone is happy! Trust me, even the most 'I don't want to be here' will eventually give in and start smiling!
When everyone is having fun, your album will be full of smiles and happiness.
I hand pick and hand edit each and every one of your photos, no AI here, I do it all myself, keeping the authenticity alive. Albums are normally delivered within 10 - 15 days of your shoot and the best part is that I do not cap the amount of photos you receive. You receive them ALL at NO EXTRA CHARGE - the number of images will vary with the amount of people in the group.
