We like to think of a photo shoot as a fun activity. A chance for you and your tribe to have some fun together and for me to capture all the smiles and connections between you, believing the most important sparkle in a photoshoot is joy - everyone from babies to grandparents should enjoy the shoot and have FUN!

With over 20 years' experience here in Grand Cayman, Pura Vida Photography offers a full service experience with a fun and relaxed approach. We cover the whole island from West Bay to Rum Point, and will travel to your location at

We are naturally fun and friendly people who really love connecting with our clients. Amanda has worked in customer service for over 35 years, and those people skills are at the heart of Pura Vida Photography. We pride ourselves on our strong work ethic, exceptional client care, and creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Our fun, energetic approach and quirky sense of humour will have you all laughing, relaxing and enjoying time together while we capture all the smiles, love and little moments in between. We'll guide you naturally throughout the session, organising everyone with ease and photographing all the different family combinations.
Along the way, we'll also capture those beautiful candid moments you didn't even realise were happening, a mix of gently posed, prompted and completely authentic interactions. We love creating a gallery with something for everyone, so whether you prefer natural candids, classic portraits, or those perfectly imperfect in-between moments, your final collection will feel infinitely timeless.
All the above while ensuring everyone is happy! Trust us, even the most 'I don't want to be here' will eventually give in and start smiling!
When everyone is having fun, your album will be full of smiles and happiness.
We hand pick and hand edit each and every one of your photos, no AI here, we do it all ourselves, keeping the authenticity alive. Albums are normally delivered within 10 - 15 days of your shoot and the best part is that we do not cap the amount of photos you receive. You receive them ALL at NO EXTRA CHARGE - the number of images will vary with the amount of people in the group.
